greenhouse gas removal

io understands GGR technologies and the necessary role they will play in achieving net zero targets.

Given the slow deployment of emissions reduction technologies there is increasing recognition that negative emissions technologies (NETS) also known as Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR) will likely be required.

There are eight such GGRs, six of which are nature based and two engineered solutions, namely BECCS (Bio-Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage) and DACCS (Direct Air Capture and Carbon Storage). io has been following these nascent engineered solutions for several years now and understands the technology and economic challenges of each and can help you understand the role these technologies can play at a portfolio or single emitter level.

Talk to us if you need to understand the opportunity DACCS can play in helping you to offset difficult to abate emissions and the costs thereof. (image courtesy of Carbon Engineering)
